Meet Cassandra Aronow

I first worked up the courage to try yoga in 2017, at a small heated vinyasa studio in Los Angeles. My initial draw was the physical workout but it quickly turned into something more. Yoga has completely changed me for the better. Yoga nurtures my soul and broadens my perspective. Every day I continue to grow through practice of yoga. In 2019 I decided to deepen my practice by participating in a 200hr YTT at Hapa Yoga. Initially I had no intentions of teaching but during the program instructing came so naturally and I found that I really loved it. I have now been teaching yoga for 4 years, going on 5! I love teaching vinyasa and restorative yoga. I recently completed my 300hr YTT and am in the process of registering as a 500 hr RYT. In addition to instructing yoga I have been a certified reiki energy worker for 5 years and am now beginning to dabble into sound healing. I love incorporating reiki and sound healing into special yoga classes and workshops.

The vibe at class:
Heart & Soul-Centered

  • A class with me is grounding. I create space for students to connect with their most authentic selves. In a flow class you will strengthen and stretch your muscles while continuously encourage you to connect with your breath. In a restore class I cue movements and breathe intentionally to nurture the minds, bodies, and spirits of the room.

  • Yoga is the yoking of the mind, body, and spirit. Yoga is accessible to everyone and there are many ways to practice yoga. Yoga asana is one form but there is so much more.

  • I love earth hugging pose. It is so grounding and I love to feel my heart beat against the earth and to connect with the space that she holds. I hug her and she hugs me back. It is so nurturing and also a very passive and accessible way for me to open my tight hips.

  • When I am not teaching yoga you can find me with my daughter Indigo and my husband Erik and our dog Sampson. We love hiking and spending time outdoors as a family. You may also find me at a local coffee shop reading and or journaling. I also love creating which I do frequently with my daughter and would love to do more for myself!
