In this workshop, we'll explore the relationship between embodiment, energy, and creative self-expression through yoga, meditation, and art.
Whether you identify as a creative person or not, you will learn how to work with your energy to connect to a flow state, how to harness the creative capacity of your body through movement and play, and channel your unique flavor of expression into an intuitive art piece.
This process of connection, amplification, and expression can be utilized in many different ways in your life, whether it be creative projects, generating certain feeling states, or working toward your goals and dreams.
All levels of physical fitness and abilities as well as all levels of artistic and creative abilities are welcome.
Please bring: a journal, something to write with, and some magazines for taking cut-outs if you have any!
About Kate:
Kate Marolt has been teaching yoga for ten years, and has been studying the relationship between movement and creativity for even longer. With a B.A. in art and design and a lifelong devotion to self-expression in many forms, she believes we are all inherently creative and loves to craft experiences for others to tap into their creative power through movement and energy work.
